Ten Piano Concert
A Suzuki Piano Basics International 10-Piano Concert was held at the beautiful new
Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts at the University of California at Davis on Saturday August 16, 2003 at 1:00 and 5:00 PM. Over two hundred twenty students from all across the United States and ten from Japan participated in this extraordinary event.
The concert was proceeded by an intense two week period of rehearsals held at the
Sacramento Convention Center in downtown Sacramento until the last three at the Mondavi Center. Approximatly forty teachers participated in this workshop lead by
Sensei Haruko kataoka and three other teachers from Japan.
