People, FriendsAndFamily that is, might see it as something familiar in an alien landscape. I think that would be a good thing. I personally like the built in "highlight - right click - search the web" function available in [[http://www.mozilla.org/][Mozilla]]'s Firefox.

I added a Google search and an A9 search box to the footer. Google you know, A9 is an Amazon front end to Google's search results.

Why do I get a sign-in pompt when I arrive sometimges, like just now at MozillaBits?

That is intresting... isn't it. I suspect that you are the first visitor to that page since it's cache has expired (all RSS feeds are cached for 15 minutes on our site). Your request is generating those RSS listings, and there maybe something in there that triggers the login process.

That would be my guess, anyway. Not much of an answer, sorry.

So, I've removed a couple of broken image calls in the RSS feeds and I think that has made the sign-in prompt problems go away on these feed pages.

You get that error when we try to display the header image for the feed, and the feed doesn't have an image defined.

Please let me know if you find an RSS feed causing this login request.

So I've been thinking about your question of 05 Sep 2004 and I think it would be cool if we had a choice. Like div tag class="right" bkcolor="champagne" or color="2" with the colors shown on a page like SiteConstruction.

Actually, it appears that I never instructed the server to send them after our operating system upgrade.

I've applied patches to TWiki as recommend by http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Codev/UncoordinatedSecurityAlert23Feb2005.

No, I was after a different button - I left you a hidden comment:

Any (easy) way to make the comment box smaller or proportional, especially in columns?

Use a comment box where you specify the number of "rows" and "columns." Like:

%COMMENT{type="above" rows="10" cols="25"}%
