Minolta DiMAGE Xt was used to take these pictures.
Ben and Mary Perry-Thistle are easy to take pictures of. The view behind them is the South, Middle, and North Forks of the Yuba River and other canyons to the North of
CampAugustine. The sun is setting very low in the West, or to the left in the picture.

I captured this image of snow falling at night using a night flash mode which leaves the shutter open to capture the available background light. The
camera was sitting on a tripod.
Note: you may need to adjust your brightness or contrast to bring out the trees.
