Here in the foothills of the
SierraNevada? we have a dearth of level places covered with well manicured green growth commonly known as lawn. So the usual games of croquet are limited mostly to parks and school yards and we are apt to wander about banging balls around. Beaches and rolling areas in parks also are prime candidates for CCC games.
No rules at all are just fine and a whole lot of fun for all ages.
Follow the leader can be more or less focused.
